Behind sleepArt are Doro, Bianca, Patrick and Nick — four friends from Celle who love their home town. What connects us: the conviction that a place to stay can be more than a bed for the night.

Celle has over 500 half-timbered houses, a baroque old town and a ducal palace dating back to the 13th century. And next to it — the usual functional hotels that look the same everywhere. That was never enough for us.
We wanted to create a place that can keep up with the beauty of Celle's old town. Colourful. Artistic. Modern. Unusual. A house in which each of the 10 apartments and 3 rooms has its own signature — not identical, but individual.
